There was a science fieldtrip yesterday. I enjoyed the fieldtrip except there were a few problems with it. The fieldtrip was hosted at the University of Minnesota and that was just fine. (We were visiting the science exhibits that the college students hade made and were showing off.) The fieldtrip was very uncoordinated and so we were running around getting separated from our groups and then getting rejoined and then getting lost. Also instead of hanging all of our coats up they mixed all the coats in carts. This is how head lice spreads so I kept my coat with me. I think that they should try harder to minimize head lice because they always are saying "We have a head lice problem! Head lice are at school be careful blah blah blah..." Then they take us on these field trips that put all of our coats in bins and then that spreads the head lice even more. Other than those two problems I really liked the field trip and I think that we should do this kind of thing more often. That show was great because we got cool engineering projects that we got to keep. Also it was fun to look at stuff and play around with it. Also it wasn't boring. There were alternative fuels, a show from the raptor center, hydrogen fuel cell cars, electric solar panel cars, the college version of Formula One, robots, 3D printers, dry ice, drones, and lots of other stuff that we didn't have time to look at. I hope that next year they host another one and we get to go to that one too.
